ELKINS, WV – The Davis & Elkins College men's basketball team defeated the Urbana Blue Knights Saturday afternoon, 85-73.

Senior Shane Brown (Columbia, MD/Washington Adventist University) led the Senators with 19 points, while Junior Devin Miller (Oxon Hill, MD/Hagerstown CC) added 18 points.

Davis & Elkins shot 48.3 percent (29-60) from the floor with a 38.5 percent (10-26) effort from three-point range. The Senators made 17-of-22 free throws (77.3percent).

Urbana shot 40.3 percent (25-62) with a 9-of-25 effort (36.0 percent) from beyond the arc. The Blue Knights connected on 14-of-21 free throws (66.7 percent).

The Senators head to Bluefield, West Virginia to face the Blues on Monday, January 7, 2013.
