ELKINS, WV - The Davis & Elkins women's basketball team defeated Ohio Valley 75-56 Monday night in The McDonnell Center.

Ten different people scored for the Senators led by junior Jorden Lykes who finished with 16 points and seven rebounds.

Sophomore Sharmaine Baker finished with 14 points and six rebounds, while senior Page Turner added 13 points, four assists, three rebounds, and three steals.

Junior Alicia Lentz had a solid effort for D&E with nine points, four blocks, and three rebounds.

Jasmine Gibson led OVU with 21 points and six rebounds.

D&E continues to play solid defense and limited the Fighting Scots to 35.8 percent (19-53) shooting from the field and the Senators also held a 41-31 rebounding edge.

D&E travels to Seton Hill on Thursday for a key WVIAC contest with the Griffins.
