ELKINS, WV -The Davis & Elkins women's basketball team placed four people in double figures Monday night as they defeated Concord University 76-62.
D&E led by 12 at halftime and never looked back as 12 student-athletes saw action and nine different people scored.
Beth Gribble led the way for the Senators with 15 points in 16 minutes of action. Page Turner scored 13 points and added seven assists and five steals. Ashley Bowles scored 11 points and Jorden Lykes finished with 10 points and 12 rebounds.
Rachel Artrip scored 22 points for the Mountain Lions off the bench. Jacqueline Kestner amassed 15 points while canning six-of-nine shots from the field. Amanda Smith chipped in eight points as did Leslie Mack.
D&E made 49.2 percent of its shots from the floor while CU netted 37.3 percent of its attempts.
The Senators travel to Pitt-Johnstown Thursday for a key WVIAC contest.
