MONTGOMERY, WV - The Davis & Elkins men's soccer team defeated West Virginia Tech 6-0 Friday evening to open the season.

Branko Dugalic scored the first goal of the season off an assist from James Pucci in the 22nd minute.

Wyatt Hill scored 11 minutes later off an assist from Dugalic to make the score 2-0 at halftime.

Bastien Catrin scored his first goal in a D&E uniform in the 62nd minute off Pucci's second assist of the day.

David Roberson found the back of the net in the 75th minute off a feed from Oliver Bienias and Dugalic scored his second goal of the match two minutes later.

Dan Savory provided the final margin when he scored in the 80th minute.

Moises Oseguera recorded four saves for the Senators (1-0).

D&E travels to Gannon on Sunday for a 1 p.m. match with the Golden Knights.
