ELKINS, WV -The Davis & Elkins men's basketball team dropped an 87-65 decision to Charleston Saturday evening in The McDonnell Center.

D&E trailed 34-33 at halftime but the Golden Eagles (18-5, 13-4) pulled away in the second half.

Senior forward Malik Tinsley led the Senators with 22 points and three rebounds. 

Freshman guard Jimmy Wiley added 14 points off the bench, while junior guard D'Quan Lynch finished with 12 points and three assists.

PJ Reyes led the Golden Eagles with 21 points and Eladio Espinosa added 14 points and eight rebounds.

The Senators (4-14, 2-14) will host Queen's University Monday at 7 p.m. in non-conference action.
