ELKINS, WV -Junior guard D'Quan Lynch tipped in a rebound at the buzzer to propel the Davis & Elkins men's basketball team to a 74-72 overtime win versus West Virginia Wesleyan at The McDonnell Center on Saturday evening.

Senior forward Malik Tinsley paced the Senators with 26 points and six rebounds.  Senior guard guard Ian Pinckney added 18 points and 10 rebounds, while Lynch finished with 11 points and seven rebounds.

Raymont McElroy led the Bobcats with 30 points and four rebounds, and Kelsey Williams added 18 points and seven rebounds.

With the scored tied at 72, PJ Turner penetrated into the middle of the paint and lofted a jumper with 5 seconds left in overtime that hit the front of the rim, but the 5 foot 10 inch Lynch was quick to leap and tipped in the winning shot as time expired.

The Senators improve to 8-16 overall and 4-16 in the WVIAC, while the Bobcats fall to 17-7, 13-7.

D&E will host Shepherd Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. on "Senior Night."
