ELKINS, WV -The Davis & Elkins volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to Charleston on Thursday night in The McDonnell Center.

The Golden Eagles prevailed 25-20, 28-26, and 28-26.

The Senators honored seniors Brittany Anderson, Brandi Brown, Meaghan Emery, Brenna Tillman and Heather Zapf before the contest.

Zapf led the Senators with 19 kills and two digs.  Nicole Miller added eight kills and 14 digs.

Haylee Murray finished with 28 assists and 10 digs,while Emery added 13 digs.

Katherine Furlog amd Malleri Hardison finished with 10 kills each for UC (14-15, 9-5).  Kelsey Eby added 23 assists and 14 digs.

D&E (4-19, 2-10) travels to Shepherd Friday for a 7 p.m. contest.
