ELKINS, WV -Livingstone College placed five people in double figures Tuesday night as they defeated Davis & Elkins 75-70 in non-conference action in The McDonnell Center.

Jody Hill led the victors with 15 points and four assists while Eladio Espinoza and Mark Thomas added 14 points each.

Junior forward Devin Miller led the Senators with 22 points and seven rebounds in his D&E debut.

Senior guard Shane Brown added 15 points and three rebounds for the Senators.

Livingstone shot 49.2 percent (29-59) from the floor, while D&E hit on 46.4 percent (26-56) of its shots.

The Senators had a 36-31 advantage on the boards.

D&E falls to 0-1, while Livingstone College improves to 2-1. The Senators return to action next Tuesday when they travel to Charleston for at 7 p.m. contest.
