ERIE, PA - Gannon University scored two goal in the first half Sunday and held on to defeat Davis & Elkins 2-1 in the NCAA Tournament.

The Golden Knights (13-5) started the scoring at the 14:14 mark when Robbie Bennett scored off an assist from Tyler Hollingsworth.

Gannon scored nine minutes when Haffi Bjarnason scored off an assist from Alex Perri.

The Senators got on the board in the 68th minute when Wyatt Hill scored off an assist from Branko Dugalic.

D&E had several scoring chances late but could not score the equalizer.

The Senators held a 17-9 edge in shots and both teams had five corner kicks.

Senior Moises Oseguera had three saves in goal for D&E and Jason Barbarino recorded 11 saves for Gannon.

D&E finishes the season at 14-4-2 and will lose Shade Combs and Moises Oseguera to graduation.
