BLUEFIELD, WV - The Davis & Elkins volleyball team defeated Bluefield State 3-0 in WVIAC action on Friday night.
The Senators won 25-13, 25-10, and 25-11 to earn their first conference win of the year.
Heather Zapf led the D&E offense with nine kills and Brittany Behensky added eight.
Haylee Murray fueled the Senators offense with 28 assists and Meaghan Emery led the defense with 13 digs.
The Senators had a .152 kill percentage and 34 kills.
Kendria Perkins recorded 3 kills for Bluefield (0-11, 0-6) and Natalie Ramos finished with 11 digs.
D&E improves to 2-11 overall and 1-3 in the conference and will travel to West Liberty University on Monday for a 7 p.m. match with the Hilltoppers.
