ATHENS, WV- Davis & Elkins hit the road tonight to take on the Concord Mountain Lions in WVIAC womens basketball action.
The Senators (8-7, 7-4) dropped the heartbreaker 66-62 to the conference leading Mountain Lions (13-3, 10-2).
Junior G Page Turner led the scoring with 20 points on 6-15 shooting from the floor. Turner was 3-5 from the 3 point line and 5-6 from the free throw line. Senior G/F Victoria Lyles pitched in 14 points and 6 rebounds. Sophomore F Jorden Lykes had 11 points and 6 rebounds.
The Senators will play their fifth road game in six events on Saturday January 21st at 2:00 pm against Wheeling Jesuit. Their next home contest is Monday January 23rd at 5:30 pm against West Liberty.
