ELKINS, WV- The Senators from D&E grabbed a hard fought victory over the Rams from Shepherd University(6-5,1-1).

It took five sets to decide the outcome of tonight's match but in the end D&E (8-9,1-1) came out on top.

Leading the way for the Senators was Senior Jana Lowe with 9 kills in 29 attempts, 10 assists, 1 service ace, 10 digs, and 2 blocking assists.  Senior Bre Tognoli added 19 assists and 10 digs while juninor Meaghan Emery had an astounding 28 digs. Junior Brandi Brown had a great night on the attack with 17 kills in 29 attempts.

The Senators will be back in action tomorrow afternoon at 1:00 pm against the Mountain Cats of Pitt-Johnstown.
