PHILIPPI, WV - The Davis & Elkins men's soccer team fell 2-0 to the University of Charleston in WVIAC action on Tuesday.
Charleston scored at the 35:43 mark off an "own goal" to take a 1-0 lead and Dion Peters provided the final margin at the 41:35 mark.
The Senators had a great scoring opportunity early in the match but UC keeper Sean Teepen managed to keep D&E scoreless.
D&E finished with three shots on goal while UC finished with 11. 
D&E keeper Moises Oseguera recorded nine saves in the loss.
D&E falls to 1-3 overall and 0-1 in the WVIAC, while UC improves to 2-1 overall and 2-0 in WVIAC action.
The Senators return to action on Friday when they face West Virginia Tech at 4 p.m. on the campus of Alderson-Broaddus College.
