ELKINS, WV- The Senators from Davis & Elkins College hammered out a win in their home and conference opener against the Concord University Mountain Lions 3-1 on Tuesday night.

The Senators (4-6, 1-0) were led on the court by Senior RS Jana Lowe who had 10 kills in 33 attempts to go along with 19 assists.  Junior MH Brandi Brown pitched in with 12 kills in 25 attemps and 3 blocked shots.  Senior S Bre Tognoli added 21 assists.  Junior L Meaghan Emery had 32 digs on the night.

D&E will be back in action tomorrow night as they take on the Fairmont Falcons in Fairmont, WV.  Game time is 7:00 pm.
