ELKINS, WV - Davis & Elkins defeated Fairmont State 82-79 in men's basketball action on Tuesday night. 

The Senators were led by Ian Pinckney's 24 points. Paolo Ivis added 15 while Shane Brown and PJ Turner each had 14. D'Quan Lynch accounted for 12. Turner's 11 assists gave him a double-double. D&E canned 55.6 percent of its shots in the game.

Steve Custis totaled a game-high 27 points. Isaac Thornton amassed 16 points and had five assists in the loss. Erv McFadden came off the bench to net 11. Melvin Rhodes grabbed eight rebounds and dished out six assists.

The Senators improve to 1-2 overall and 1-2 in the WVIAC, while FSU drops to 0-2 overall and 0-1 in the WVIAC.
