SERAFINI, 3 MORE RECEIVE SOFTBALL HONORS
PRINCETON, WV -Sophomore Amanda Serafini has been named second-team All-WVIAC by the league coaches as announced Tuesday afternoon. Carissa Dunn, Jenifer Kennon, and Bridget Ours all received honorable mention.
Serafini was seond on the team with a .369 batting average and also had two home runs, 26 RBIs, and 28 runs scored.
Dunn led the D&E at the plate with a .372 batting average and added six home runs, 32 RBIs, and 27 runs scored.
Kennon finished third on the team with a .339 batting average and five home runs. She also collected 39 RBIs, 33 runs scored and a team-high 10 stolen bases.
Ours, D&E's all-time leader in home runs with 40, finished with a .232 batting average while driving in 38 runs. She also hit 10 home runs and scored 12 runs.
