Elkins, WV-  The Senators and Scots split in today's doubleheader action.  Davis & Elkins took game one by a score of 17-2 before dropping game two 4-1.  In game one, the Senators used a 20 hit attack to score their 17 runs.  Second baseman Brad Banzhoff went 4-for-4 with a double, scored twice and drove in three.  Center fielder Anthony Ragos went 3-for-4 with a triple, two runs and two RBI's.  Right fielder Josh Robinette also collected three hits going 3-for-4 with a triple and scoring four runs.  Four other Senator hitters had two hits each.

Senior LHP Zach McElroy picked up the win going six innings while giving up two runs on five hits and striking out four. 

In game two, the Scots sent Shayne Miller to the mound to avoid the sweep.  Miller threw a complete game giving up just one run on four hits while striking out five and walking two.
Justin Wharton went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.

Junior Tripp Staley took the loss giving up four runs in 4 1/3 IP.  Although Staley struck out five, he also walked four and gave up four hits.  Offensively for the Senators, first baseman Treavor Dubiel collected two hits.
